A nomination template must be updated when a slate, inspection appointment, or snippet used in the template has been modified or when another record in the template has been made inactive. Manually updating the template ensures that it remains as you want it to be. If you try to use the template with an inactive record, you are prompted to select an active record, and you are not able to use the inactive record in the nomination.
A Nomination Template can be updated in two places.
A. To update a template from the Nomination Template list
1. From the Catalogue menu, select Nomination Templates
2. On the Nomination Templates page, look for the "Update Required" icon and click on the Template requiring an update
3. Click the wrench icon to go into modify mode
4. You will have the option to keep the previous tests or use the latest uploaded ones. (If you decide to keep the old temple tests as is, the data will need to be updated before you can issue the nomination)
5. Add any required attachments and click "Save"
B. Updating a template when creating a nomination
1. From the Trips menu, select Nomination
2. From the Actions menu tab, select "Create Inspection Nomination"
3. If the Nomination Template you wish to use requires an update, click the template and Select
5. The system will give you two options: keep the previous tests or use the latest uploaded ones (If you decide to keep the old temple tests as is, the data will need to be updated before you can issue the nomination)
