In the case that a nomination has been created and is no longer needed, the nomination can be rescinded (canceled) as long as the inspection company has not yet added results into the inspection worksheet. The reason that the nomination cannot be rescinded if an inspection company has added results is to protect the inspection company from doing work and not getting paid for it.
The cargo owner company is responsible for rescinding the nomination.
Please see the steps below on how to rescind a nomination:
1. Navigate to the Nomination
2. Select the drop-down arrow next to the nomination and select "Rescind"
3. Enter a comment and select "Rescind Nomination"
Please note that when a nomination is rescinded, this cannot be undone and it will cancel the movement.
