In most profiles, the user with system administrator permissions will be able to add and amend Methods of Transport (MOT) that then appear on the drop-down of a nomination form. If an MOT is missing from the catalogue, please contact your company system administrator.
NOTE: If an MOT is not present in the Valero, Citgo, or Total profile, please contact support@navarik.com
Here are some instructions on how to create an MOT:
1. Navigate to the catalogue drop-down menu and select "Methods of Transport"
2. On the left-hand side there are two icons present - one (1) for the creation of a vessel that would be used in a Marine-type nomination (Barge, Bunker Barge, LNG Tanker, LPG Tanker, Other, and Tanker) and the other (2) for the creation of a Pipeline that would be used in a Pipeline-type nomination:
3. All fields on the form with an * asterisk must be filled in before the MOT can be saved and used which are "Name", and "Vessel Type", and "Official Number"
Lastly, the Navarik application keeps a record of the changes made to the MOT. This is indicated by the versions toggle on the right-hand side. The system will automatically display the most up-to-date version and all previous versions will be listed as "Inactive":
