Sample & Retain Pricing Rules via Price Book Manager:

Given:

  • An active pricing book per the desired vendor
  • Corresponding to the desired equipment and grade group combination, there already exists a PRICE_PER quantity rule corresponding to the equipment and grade group

The combination of the following properties can be used to generate any number of unique sample & retain pricing rules.

  • Grade group code: GRADE_TYPE (based on the categorization of grades)
  • Equipment code: TANKER / BARGE
  • Service code: SAMPLE_RETAIN

As an example, if a line entry in a price book reads as follows:

GRADE_GROUP_CLIENT_CODE

EQUIPMENT_CODE

SERVICE_CODE

GEO_REGION_CODE

BITUMEN

BARGE

PRICE_PER

10.00

BITUMEN

BARGE

SAMPLE_RETAIN

53.50

NI will interpret the row with the SAMPLE_RETAIN rule as a cost to be associated to any Barge with any products belonging to the group Bitumen in the specified geo-region to estimate a cost of $53.50 per parcel.

To generate estimations based on the provided rule(s):
