Navarik Introduces New User Interface Updates: Phase 1

As a part of our product roadmap commitment, Navarik has allocated time and resources to modernize the user interface. The goal of this project is to not only give the end user a better experience with system navigation, but the updated infrastructure behind the scenes will assist in simplifying future customization requests. Most notably, our users will notice more performative user experience, the need for fewer clicks, and cosmetic changes to help improve usability and responsiveness. 


The changes will be rolled out to our customers in phases and will appear for viewing and testing purposes in the UAT environment ahead of its production release. Phase 1 will be released into Production on September 7th, 2024.


The first phase of the rollout features areas of our Catalogue menu. Please see some of the highlights below: 



1. The environment indicator ribbon has been moved from the footer to the header for easier viewing and will now no longer truncate the page:

2. The following pages have been updated with a new design and capabilities: 


Methods of Transport 

Grades 

Units of Measure 

Event Types 

Retest Reasons 

Snippets 

Expense Types 


 

The below example will use the Methods of Transport (MOT) page for demonstration.

To give the user more control, the columns and filters are now modular. By default, the MOT page will display information for all column headers which can be changed by clicking the "Columns" tab and selecting the preferred items:

Lastly, the modify and delete icons now indicate their functions more clearly and make it easier for the user to locate them:

3. Ability to save views & presets for quicker navigation to fit your needs
